Jerry A. Matlen, M.D., is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Dr. Matlen completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Mount Carmel Hospital in Detroit. He completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive hip and knee replacement surgery at the University of Texas’ Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He served an additional fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City.

Dr. Matlen is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
